Why do professional fishermen prefer tungsten weights to tin weights?

Tungsten is a material with a significantly heavier weight than tin, therefore tungsten bites are smaller than those made of tin at the same weight. It also allows them to be cast further.
A tungsten weight makes a significantly louder "clunk" when it falls to the bottom than a tin weight. This, in turn, attracts predatory fish from further away, and catches increase.

Since the bites made of tungsten are smaller than the ones made of tin, it also falls to the bottom faster.
