Why do professional fishermen prefer tungsten weights to tin weights?

LONGER CASTS
Tungsten is a material with a significantly heavier own weight than tin, therefore tungsten weights are smaller than those made of tin at the same weight. This also allows them to be cast further.

LOUDER NOISE
A tungsten weight makes a significantly louder "clunk" when it falls to the bottom than a tin weight. This, in turn, attracts predatory fish from further away, and catches increase.

SINKS IN WATER FASTER
Since the weight made of tungsten is less than the weight made of tin, it also falls to the bottom faster.
