Mikado experts have expanded the broad Nihonto family with a sub-series called Fine Braid. These are 4 core braids made from high density polyethylene (HDPE) fibers. In this way, it was possible to achieve reliability, which allows to cope with the pulls of predatory fish. Abrasion resistance is also excellent. The line lays well on the spool. It is smooth and slides freely in the rings, which improves the casting length. The dyeing method is penetrating: the dye seeps through the fiber. Therefore, Mikado Nihonto Fine Braid retains its original tone for a long time.
