TORNADO 180 CW Ice Auger is the largest-diameter model in the TORNADO ice auger range. This reliable and user-friendly ice auger is equipped with a telescopic extension shaft and easily drills ice up to 1.5 meters thick.

The design features a reinforced wing screw with a modified thread pitch in the locking mechanism, fully eliminating the risk of spontaneous loosening. The patented dovetail lock securely fixes the handle in the working position, ensuring zero play during operation.

The ergonomic handle layout — with the upper handle offset by 105 mm and the lower handle by 165 mm from the auger axis — allows simultaneous two-handed rotation, significantly increasing drilling speed. The telescopic extension insert enables comfortable drilling and allows the auger to be adjusted to the angler’s height.

All auger components are coated with durable black polymer powder paint. The entire coating process is carried out using high-tech European manufacturing equipment. The comfortable handles feature a rigid frame made of “warm” plastic and are covered with soft-touch material that remains pleasant to grip even in severe frost.

The auger blade pitch is increased by 10% compared to classic ice augers, ensuring faster removal of ice shavings, reduced drilling effort, and prevention of auger jamming. Each ice auger undergoes strict quality control across more than 50 parameters, guaranteeing a high level of reliability.
